Past and Present Clenet Series II Cabriolet Owners


Clenet Coachworks Inc. produced 187 Series II Cabriolet automobiles from late 1979 through 1987. These cars were produced in the new Goleta factory and later in the Carpinteria factory. In general, Series II cars built at Goleta have a plaque xxx/250 whereas the Carpinteria cars have xxx/500.

The base price of the Series II started at $59,900 in 1979 and increased to $102,500 by the end of production in 1987.
